A Celebration of Hill Farming Communities and the Uplands

Hill farming communities play a vital role in many areas of our lives, literally providing access to everything from food to fresh air. Food and Farming for REAL is organised by farmers and small businesses who believe passionately in the preservation of the uplands and the communities that depend on them.

What is the Showcase?

The showcase demonstrate all the positive contributions which hill farming communities make to modern life. It covers everything from food stalls to cookery demonstrations, rural art and craft stands, children's area to a chance to "meet the workers" through a show of farm animals and activities.
The Showcase will delight and entertain - and in entertainment, it also aims to educate.
